I think it is perfectly fine to wear denim on denim. A lot of people are scared of it, but I feel like it makes an outfit look way cooler than it actually is. In this outfit inspiration I am wearing mom jeans from American Eagle (they always have some on sale online) and an denim jacket from old navy. If you are looking for a denim jacket that is affordable, I would definitely first hit your local thrift store before going to any trendy department store. Add a cool pair of sneakers to the mix with a statement bag and you are good to go! (p.s.I got this super cute bag from DSW on the clearance rack!)
